If "seeing is believing", then you have to download the larger image. This image, pointed directly at the North Star, shows several minutes of the night sky, and you can clearly see the rotation of the earth.
With a few more attempts and adjustments I hope to get a good clear image of the circular motion of the stars from leaving the shutter open for hours instead of just minutes.
