This flower has actually had me fooled for a long time now. It is located in the small fish pond that my aunt and uncle had built in the back of the pool area. In passing by the pond, I never gave this plant much thought. Always appearing the same, and always in the same place, made me think it was not even real. Until recently.

While I was walking by one day, I finally noticed that the flower was closed. I was actually surprised that this same flower can open and close every day, for as long as it has been.

I have also recently noticed that there is now three more new flowers growing in the pond.
