Zooming in as far as I could with my telephoto lens I captured this view of Jupiter rising up over the mountains, and through the haze of a light overcast. The image may not be all that clear, but you can actually see several of the moons of Jupiter in the shot as well.

The fact that the planet is not perfectly round, and the moons appear to streak, is due to the extended exposure time and the rotation of the earth.
