This is a description of the format, theme, and history behind my daily emails.

These emails usually consist of pictures of places and things I have
seen and done. The images are usually very small, compressed pictures,
around 320X240 pixels so
they should not be a burden on your email systems. The larger versions are also available upon
request. Please read below for more details.

If, for any reason, you do not wish to receive these pictures then
please let me know and I will take you off of the list with no ill feelings.
I know that I, myself, would probably get annoyed by them.

These daily emails started out a few years ago when my sister had become
quite ill with a rare auto-immune disease and was going through chemotherapy
treatment. She could not go outside or enjoy the simple things in life that
we had always taken for granted.
I had been travelling quite a bit for a few years and saw so many things
that I knew she could never enjoy. Every day I would see things and wish
that I could share them with her.
I helped her get a computer with internet service and, with my digital
camera, began sending her pictures of flowers and all kinds of plants and
animals from everywhere I went. After a while other people asked if they
could also receive these pictures so one thing led to another and my list has now grown to
over 200 people from all around the country and even different countries all
over the world.
Since then my sister has gotten involved in herbal medicines and is now
off of the chemotherapy and has almost fully recovered.

Anyway, I have a particular theme to my daily emails that I try to maintain.

Mondays I send what I call "Botanical Mondays". I send pictures of
flowers and plants and things of that nature. (heh, "of that nature")
Tuesdays are "Biological Tuesdays" where I send pictures of animals,
insects and various other creatures.
"Graphical Wednesdays" are images that I have created, altered and/or manipulated
myself. These include the increasingly popular "Koala Man" series.
"Geographical Thursdays" are pictures of special places I have been.
"Atmospherical Fridays" are pictures of the sky and sunsets

After my father passed away a few years ago, while going through his things,
I found a box of photos that he had taken over the years and realized that these
images should be shared as well. So I created "Photographical Saturdays" which
are scanned, conventional photographs that my father had taken.

"Photographical Sundays" then became scanned photos that I have taken.

Occasionally I will randomly send "Lyricals". These are poems and
lyrics to songs that I have written in the past.

I also have random mailings of "Musicals" where I may
send midi files of music that I have composed or am in the process of composing.

All of these pictures, images and artwork, other than Saturday's "Photographicals", are things that I have taken and/or created myself.
I try to make sure that all the different plants and animals are in the
wild and not caged or potted or anything unnatural. Occasionally I might
have to send something that I think is exceptional.

If you like any of the pictures or emails then please let me know what you think.

I have had many requests for the larger, high resolution, versions of my
pictures. I will usually send these out upon request but please understand
that my internet service is a standard dial-up connection and subject to slow
downloads for larger files.
I can also send high quality 8"X10" glossy prints of any of these pictures but due to
the high demand for them in the past I must request $30.00 (plus shipping
and/or mail charges) for these.
High quality 13"X19" prints are also directly available for $50.00 (plus
shipping and/or mail charges)
Much larger, poster size, prints are also available. Please ask for
pricing as that is always subject to change.

So I hope that you will enjoy my pictures as much as I have enjoyed
sharing them and I look forward to hearing from you.

 Thank You,
      Danny Gali
