Now I'm not sure what happened here as some of the image is
doubled, but other parts are not. I might think that the camera shook some. But then I think
that everything in the image would be doubled. But this strike was very close, and I
actually did feel some of the
static from it myself. So another theory is that the static
from the lightning flash might have actually affected the
camera a little. Which is a potential problem I have been
rather concerned about. Although I might not get directly hit by
lightning, too much of a static charge, too close, could actually damage my
camera.
I have actually experienced similar problems when taking
pictures near large radio towers.
