And a prime example here that bigger is not always better. Zooming
in and cropping the image might not be all that great if you
have to zoom in too far, and your object is a bit out of
focus.
Of course the further an object is from you the harder it
is going to get in focus anyway, due to more distortion in the
atmosphere. The best lens won't do any good if the view is
hindered by dust, humidity and pollution.
Sometimes, if it doesn't look good with your own eyes, it
won't look good on camera. What you see is what you get.
