Beyond the Logan Pass the scenery was much the same. Of course just as spectacular but still quite a bit different. If that makes any sense.

Its amazing to look up at the snow line and see the water coming from the snow and down into the creeks and rivers. Of course cold and very clear.

Some of the flowers are pretty interesting how they can grow in these harsh environments. Of course, here in the summer its quite nice but the winters have to be pretty intense.

Further down you can see how the glaciers have carved this amazing landscape and even see some of them still working their magic.

Along the road I found these rocks that prove that we do actually have purple mountains.

Then Saint Mary Lake on the east side of the lake presents a close to my journey through Glacier National Park. And just in time as the sun was beginning to set beyond the mountains.

As the sun was shining through the mountain range I stopped to get a quick bite and head off again.

I had a great time in Glacier as did Wilson. Amazing, Wilson never seems to get bugs on him like I do.

"Oh no, not another one of these rock formations." Just outside of the park, going towards the north was this peak that looked quite similar to the Devil's Tower in Wyoming.

Now, Its up and into Canada, to Calgary and Edmonton and beyond.
