It seemed like all the birds of prey in Baja would rest on top of a tall saguaro cactus. As you can see here the cacti there were smooth and bare on top. I still wonder what happened first. Did the birds rest on top of these cacti while they still had thorns on top, causing them to eventually become bare? Or did the thorns wear off first, then the birds rested on there? Hmm.
