Well, here it was, Karla's last day. I got up, earlier than I'd like to have , and went to the store to try to find a bottle of champagne and/or sparkling white grape juice. Karla wanted to celebrate the completion of her two and a half year odyssey around the country. Finally getting up to Washington D.C. I met up with her and a friend at the Arlington Memorial Cemetery. We walked all the way from there to the Capital building where she proceeded to open the bottle and celebrate. 

What will she do now? She still doesn't quite know, but writing a book is definitely in the plan somewhere.
