During my first visit to China I stayed in an apartment at a university in XinXiang. While I was there I met two American teachers, Matt Wetzel and Brian Sherwin, that were staying there in the same complex. We often had lots of students that would visit us every evening to practice speaking English. I enjoyed my visits with them as I learned so much about them, as individuals. I have missed them over the years and often wonder what happened to them all.

I remained in contact with Matt and Brain over the years and got the privilege of getting to visit with each one of them again during my trip around the country.
