* Killer Bees * |
Well, as many of you know, the killer bees, otherwise known as Africanized bees are here in the states. Covering the southwestern states, they have become somewhat of a nuisance. Certainly not quite as dangerous or threatening as many of the films have depicted them over the years, but they are a problem.
This colony has taken up residence in one of my uncle's houses on his property. Exterminators have come out in the past to get rid of them and it appears, only caused them to move from one side of the house to the other.
Well, I guess the inspections and negotiations didn't work so they decided to bomb them. Hmm, go figure.
Although it is very difficult to tell the physical differences between the Africanized and European honey bees, these bees are very ill-tempered and have tried to attack me several times and have shown extremely aggressive behavior patterns that I never experienced with common bees before.
So now I'm working on a plan to attack them myself and see if I can remove them from the walls of the house. Of course I may have to send out a new daily picture. The "Hystericals" image might be a picture of me with large red, bee sting whelps all over my face.
