Running all over the place out here are these cottontail rabbits. Mostly pretty small, they live in and around all the various types of cacti. I'm still quite surprised that there is actually enough food out here for them, but they seem to manage quite well.

 Sometimes, like this one here, they will sit very still, apparently thinking that they are invisible and you can't see them. But with their earth tone colors they are sometimes difficult to notice at first, and can often startle some bodily fluids out of a person when they suddenly spring out in front of you.
