A quick edit to try some options for an image for friend's web site. (www.hopkinsprogramming.net) This was actually from a shot of downtown Toronto, Canada, taken from the tallest building and free-standing structure in the world, The CN Tower.
How I did it:
I take the original image and (click) perform an "edge" effect.
(click) I "invert" it to provide the negative. (click) remove the red,
(click) remove the blue, and (click) add more green.
One of the most simple effects I often use, the "edge" or "outline" effect (depending on the software), outlines an image and cuts most everything out but the most obvious lines.
