* Falcon * |
I'm not totally sure what kind of bird this was but it was large and I believe it was some type of falcon. Possibly a prairie falcon. I was in southern Arizona and saw it standing on top of a utility pole. It was a very large bird with a dark head and a white chest. It decided to flee just as I approached it and was almost able to get a good shot of it. But all I got was this shot of it in flight.
