NEXT

While walking through the sycamore canyon trail I had stopped and looked down. All around me were all these bubbles in the stone. Some round and smooth while others had lots of rings around a center point, where the bubble had obviously popped. Evidently the stone at one time had been hot mud that had petrified over time. But right there, next to the bubbles, was what appeared to be the petrified remains of a prehistoric dragonfly.  Too cool.
