Before you all think that Danny has gone crazy, yes, this is just a picture of sand. But can this picture be expressed as "just plain sand"? Because it is never the same. The patterns and variations and textures are always different and changing. Diversities such as these interest me for their simple illustration of variety. Its all around us, and without this diversity everything would become rather mundane and boring. We need differences. Its what makes us all individuals. 

So sometimes I just love looking at the different patterns and shapes in the sand. The way the various elements can create all the different designs is fascinating. Nature, itself can be quite the artist. 

I enjoy taking pictures of the sand on beaches as well as other abstract images and I often use them as backgrounds on my computer. They also work great with different graphic presentations and publications. I plan to be posting a variety of these abstract images on my web site, as a place where people can possibly go to get different backgrounds for their own projects and endeavors.
