* Tram-pled *

Well, back to one of my original plans, here I am actually posting a picture of people. In trying to follow some sort of consistent theme, Saturdays and Sundays were in the thought of posting pictures of people. But I have since then changed them up to be whatever interesting images don't fit in the other categories.

This image here comes from Squaw Valley, in the Lake Tahoe area, California. I took a tram up to the top of the mountain to get some images from there and see the snow. Interesting how people's minds work. The signs all pointed to the "Cable Car" so I followed them. After getting in a large elevator to lift up to the tram platform, a small child asked the operator a question about the "Cable Car". He evidently had some issues as he replied to the child. "This is not a 'cable car' this is a 'tram'. 'Cable cars' are in San Francisco."
It was difficult to keep my mouth shut as all I kept thinking about all the signs that referred to it as a "Cable Car".

I had gone a little later in the day and, after taking my pictures and looking around, I had to wait with the hundreds of other people. I felt like I was going to be "tram-pled" by all the people trying to get on the tram to go back down the mountain. All these tram people were congested and trying to stay warm by getting inside the tram waiting area. Then some other tram people were trying to cut into the line. One young man was only wearing shorts and a t-shirt, and flip-flops. Shivering and all full of attitude, he tried to talk this gentleman into letting him cut in line as we were working our way into the warmth of the building. As the elderly man in front of me refused, the young man spouted off some profanity and went back to the end of the line, out in the cold.

Now, under certain circumstances I might have let a guy like that into the line. But with his attitude and ignorance, I would be inclined not to.
Now, in this particular situation, here's the cause for my perception of ignorance. WE WERE ON A MOUNTAIN. IT IS COLD AND IT SNOWS ON THE TOP OF MOUNTAINS. THAT'S WHY PEOPLE GO UP THERE. TO SKI, IN THE SNOW, WHERE IT IS COLD, BECAUSE THERE IS SNOW, AND SNOW IS COLD.

Yeah, I don't feel too much sympathy for somebody that goes up there in shorts and a t-shirt and flip-flops. You know, sometimes Darwinism works. We could only hope that this young individual could have frozen specific parts of his body, rendering them ineffective, and he would not be able to reproduce other offspring like him.
