* Bad Human *

A somewhat humorous moment came while I was visiting the Mt. St. Helens area back in 2002. Here, right next to this parking lot was a primitively made wooden and gravel staircase that extended up to the top of a small peak, to give a better vantage point to the volcano and surrounding area. I made the trip up there and took numerous pictures, myself, and let me tell you, it was quite the hike up to the top, and I was very winded. Okay, maybe I'm just a wimp.

So after I came down I noticed this guy getting his dog out of a car, and on a leash, he headed right on up that staircase with the dog right along with him. But after some distance I noticed the dog started to have second thoughts about the excursion. Right here I caught the dog as it kept stopping and turning around, and looking back down the hill. It was a relatively hilarious moment as you could definitely tell that the dog really didn't feel the need for the exercise and was having reservations and was being rather reluctant about continuing in the upward direction. But they continued, with the dog stopping and turning back about every four steps.
