* Arizona Wildfires *

Well, another wildfire season is upon us as it was revealed last week when this one started up in Romero Canyon, just outside the Catalina State Park. This small fire here only burned about 740 acres, whereas the Oracle Hill fire had burned about 2,400 acres back in 2002, the Bullock Fire in 2002 took about 31,000 acres, and the Aspen Fire in 2003 burned more than 85,000 acres across the top of the Catalinas and Mt. Lemmon.

In any case, the wildfires out here really can do some damage as the dry heat gets up into the triple digits.
