* Bob's Edit *

I occasionally perform simple edits for friends. Much like this shot of my good friend, Bobby Page, as he's exiting our plane "Mr. Fabulous" out at Skydive Orange, in Orange, Virginia. However, do keep in mind that I did not take this awesome original photo. But in planning to submit this shot to a publication, Bobby thought it best that we remove the name of the organization for possible advertising concerns. A quick and simple 15-minute edit later and the "Orange" is easily brushed out of the image. I like to use a "cloning" tool for such occasions. ("Rubber Stamp" for Adobe Photoshop users)

An ironic thought I just had was that I was removing the name "Orange" here. But as I first began to skydive out at Orange, in 1999, I immediately became a part of the family as I volunteered and climbed up on the hangar to help paint the name on the roof of the building. Of course most of it was already finished. But I did get to paint the last big letter, "G" for the name "ORANGE".

Now all of my friends also know that, although I will do simple edits for them for free, this also allows me the discretion to do whatever else I wish to do with the images. Much like the photo of my friend, Andy, some time ago.

So,  Bobby, be prepared. hee hee
