As I occasionally do, I'm going back in time and posting another picture from my trip around the country. Like this one here that's from Michigan, with Lake Michigan there in the shot. As I rode around the country, naturally I was already familiar with all the places I had already been. But other almost always provided me with a totally different perspective of the land. Which is the same with Michigan. For years all I could ever picture about Michigan was from what I had seen on TV, and which was always just Detroit, and usually just the bad side of town. So the thought of the countryside, and what it could be like, just never really had appealed to me until I actually got there and rode through this beautiful state. So, again, I learned that I cannot judge a book by it's cover.

So, with my new camera, as I sort through my past archives to find pictures to post, and I am finding myself more and more discouraged by the quality of all these older files and it's making me wish I could go back and do it all over again. Although, in my current state, I don't think that my body would be up for another challenge quite like that.
