I finally got a pretty good video clip of some time lapse photography. While driving home one afternoon I looked to the mountains and saw some thunder clouds that had been forming for several hours. When I got home I set up my camera with my laptop and engaged some software to automatically take 200 images, once every 20 seconds.

I had hoped to get a good shot of a thunderstorm and the clouds as they built up in intensity. But, to my disappointment, I actually got the opposite. As I set up the camera and started it, I noticed that the clouds were no longer forming, but were actually slowly fading away. Little by little, over the next hour, the clouds faded away and eventually vanished all together.

Afterwards I put all the images together into a video, and actually tried to run the video backwards to see if it would look like the clouds forming. But for some reason, it just didn't look right to me, and it still looked like the video was backwards. Maybe it was just because I already knew. But you can be the judge as I post them on my web site.
