* Fallen, Nevada * |
Driving along my trip I was getting close to Fallen, Nevada, just outside of Reno, and the sunset was just amazing. So just before I got into town I pulled over, rolled down the window, and took a few shots. As I was taking the pictures I noticed some small insects flying around and into my vehicle. They were mosquitoes. Hundreds of them. And since I was the only living creature for miles around, I guess I seemed to be the main course on their menu. So they all piled in and decided to go for a ride. I quickly rolled the window up and drove off. As I continued down the road I was being attacked inside my own car. I rolled the windows back down and tried my best to get the little critters out of the car. I stopped in town and stopped to stretch, get some gas and a drink, and headed back down the highway towards Reno, still flushing the little vampires out of the car for the next hour.
