Thank you again to Ed Ives of Cabo San Lucas for being such a great host and friend

Starting on Tuesday, October 08, 2002, 11:44:00 AM

The restaurants there on the beach were so neat. The atmosphere was great. With a nice breeze, the beach and the cruise ships off in the distance. Many of the people there were actually visiting from the cruise ships. It must be interesting to sit there and meet so many different people from so many different places. Here you can also see the peddlers go from table to table trying to sell trinkets and souvenirs.

Later, back at Ed's house, we find more and more creatures that wander into his home. Of course begin so warm he likes to leave his doors and windows open.

Here's a picture of a big walking stick. Now take into consideration that this is Ed's hand, which is, itself, much larger than my own, making this walking stick even larger than it appears here.

Then this large moth made its way inside and bounced off of the ceiling fan. It was quite rattled for a while but soon recovered before I kicked it back outside. Then another large moth came flying in and looked like a bat. This one had a wingspan of about five inches.

The next day the frog came out to get some sun on the wall overlooking the ocean as a cruise ship passes by.

So we all gathered our things together, stopped by the sitter to pick up Eli and headed up to Todos Santos to check out the beaches there. Ed, Eli, and Mario went in Ed's truck and I followed along since I was going to keep heading north from there.
