* True Color? *

A sales representative recently told me that some cameras on the market don't have "True Color".
Now I actually had to laugh at this comment and ask them, "Okay, then what is true color?" Of course he went on and on about how some cameras don't quite capture exact colors, and how the hues can be off. Then of course I argued with him about "What is the definition of color?" and he just seemed to get confused in his reply and changed the subject.

Well he had also mentioned that the camera I recently purchased also did not have "true color". But I would have to argue with him again. Because, since then, I really haven't noticed any difference from what I have seen, than from what the camera has been capturing.
The only thing I have noticed is discrepancies in lighting, and that is common with every camera and is easily adjusted with the flash and shutter and aperture settings.

So I'm not really sure why that salesperson was trying to criticize my new Canon Digital Rebel.
But maybe it had something to do with the fact that he worked for Nikon.
